Dance Dance Dance

OK – how do I persuade you to go and see some dance….? Maybe I can tempt you with Batsheva’s 2012-2013 season. This stuff is guaranteed to shake you up. This is watchable dance, even if you don’t “normally” go to dance – and of course, I am happy to provide suggestions for the edgier, more difficult, wackier stuff – if that is what you are looking for. But for now – Batsheva…. You should order tickets in advance!

I especially noticed:

  • Deca Dance – a continually updated retrospective of Ohad Naharin’s choreography, as they set off on a significant world tour – but you can see it at Suzanne Dellal – 17, 18, 19, 20 October
  • Hora – Suzanne Dellal – 30, 31 December
  • Sadeh 21 – Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow – GO AND SEE THIS! I cry every time…. Suzanne Dellal – 10, 11, 12 October, and 12, 13, 14 December
