What would Ben Gurion have said and done?

As a Jerusalemite, 1928 model, it’s difficult for me to identify with the protest of the youth in the tents on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv.

Does my difficulty emerge from the city or year I was born in, or both? Perhaps, though when I read and hear the complaints and demands of the Rothschild Boulevard demonstrators, it appears that when I and my generation and even my students faced difficulties, we didn’t waste our summer vacation in tents. We were happy if we were called up on reserve duty in army tents especially during the summer and not during our studies.
