Makom: From map to strategy to implementation.
Makom is a strategic collaboration between the Jewish Agency and local community leaders to put Israel back into the heart of all Jewish life. It starts with commitment. Then together, we map existing community Israel-centered programs and build on those resources to develop a multiyear strategy that creates and delivers compelling educational, cultural and travel content and experiences that deepen individual and community engagement with Israel.
Every Makom community is a laboratory for imagining new and innovative programs. These partnerships – and the content and learning that develops from them – increasingly are shaping the full range of Jewish Agency North American Educational Resources. Opportunities are being created for other Federations to access these new resources, as well as the Jewish Agency's unparalleled expertise in strengthening Israel educations.

The MetroWest / Miami / St. Louis / Washington Synagogue Strategy
Synagogues in each community have joined their respective Federations and the Jewish Agency in a two year process to reimagine what an Israel-centered synagogue could look like – from preschool to adult education; at holidays, celebrations and life-cycle events, on missions and Israel Days; and more. Keep an eye out for a host of new opportunities.
